All are water resistant and require between 12 and 25 volts AC or DC at a maximum of 1.5amps to operate. Suggest the use of a CDU

Seep Point Motors have the advantage of being the only point motors available with variable thrust. They also have the advantage of being easy to fix under the baseboard. requiring only a small slot to operate the point. The PM-1 is our best selling point motor and has a built in changeover switch to operate accessories or change frog polarity.

Description:	Seep Point Motors have the advantage of being the only point motors available with variable thrust. The PM-4 is a self-latching point motor, ideal for use with hand-made points, and also includes a changeover switch for operating accessories or changing frog polarity.

FITTING SEEP POINT MOTORS – HELP

POINT MOTOR POSITIONING

If you do not mount your point motor correctly in central position with the centre position of the point, you run the risk of point motor burnout. The smaller the gauge becomes, it is more important as the point movement becomes less and less.

The PM-1 and PM-4 Point Motors have an added switch within the point motor itself and this internal switch will not operate correctly unless the point motor is installed correctly. If off centre, only one half of this internal switch will operate and possibly cause a burnout.

Mount under base board – Cut out very small SLOT (as shown on the instruction leaflet)

to allow the long pin to move sideways.

Make sure that the movement is NOT obstructed in any way

I.e. Underlay or ballast or dirt or grit

and ensure that the point motor is mounted firmly in the correct CENTRAL position.

If it is NOT mounted in the correct position the switching device on the PM1 might not operate correctly.

NO NEED TO CUT LARGE CHUNKS OUT OF YOUR BASEBOARD.
