PHYSICAL HANDLING
The following may
seem basic common sense – But please read the full document
In the main the wire is a very thin single
strand of wire.
Extreme care must
be taken when handling these wires – They must NOT be bent at all, they must
NOT be twisted in any way. They must NOT
be folded in any way, because these wires are very delicate. These electronic
product wires are usually supplied with delicate electronic components.
This is to ensure
that the wires do not BREAK, FRACTURE, BEND SHARPLY at
any angle, TWIST in any direction and that the INSULATION DOES NOT CRACK to
cause possible short circuits.
Metal tools of any
form must NOT be used to handle these wires as the hard material tools may
damage the delicate lacquered insulation.
Any MAGNETIC tools must NOT be used as they may cause a pulse of STATIC Electricity also
clothing or body STATIC ELECTRICITY can cause short circuits in electronic
components and circuits.

PRECAUCTIONS.

IF YOU
PHYSICAL HANDLING OF GENERAL-USE MODEL RAILWAY WIRES
Although these
wires are more robust than electronic wires they still have to be handled with
care.
These wires
usually come in 10M or 100M coils.

transformer to power Model Signals you do NOT need any of the standard
fittings provided. So cut off the fitting at
the end of the Transformer wire – First noting which is positive or negative. Then follow the wiring
diagrams shown below. If in any doubt contact
your local electrician or electronics engineer.

There are many different power supplies available within the Model
Industry.
Please read all the manufacturers instructions before attempting to
connect any power supply to an electrical device.
Using an incorrect power supply may damage the product – It may work
