L/H Route Indicating Head kit 12v DC

To fit this kit to an eckon signal kit, just glue the curved base onto the top rear of the signal head and pass the wires down the signal post as normal.

Then follow the wiring instructions provided with the kit.

A maximum of only 2 FEATHERS can be fitted in a Y configeration, onto one signal due to the size of the curved base of the kits.

To fit 2 feathers, you put a left on the right and the right on the left - You will have to remove one small part of each curved leg very carefully. Skill is needed.

Position Light Ground Yard Signal Kit (2 White, 1 Yellow) Kit 12v DC
This is a typical modern shunt signal, used to allow movements into and out of a siding.  It has three lights with 1 yellow CAUTION and 2 white  indications.  The signal can be seen at ground level or attached to a signal post below a normal stop signal.  When mounted below a stop signal, they do not show an "on" aspect. The ON indication shows a yellow and white light side by side.  The OFF indication shows two white lights at 45 degrees.

THIS RANGE OF SIGNAL GANTRY KITS WILL MAKE A VARIETY OF MODELS TO SUIT YOUR LAYOUT – SIGNAL HEADS NOT INCLUDED IN KITS

For a platform model just reduce the height of the central stansion. The cantilever arms can be increased or reduced.

Not included in kit.

To assemble these kits you will need a cutting mat and a sharp modellers knife plus a small hole drill.

Cut out the plastic parts and just cement them together. Plastic cement is NOT included

This plastic Gantry comes with three dummy non working colour light signals. Some modellers drill a small hole in the centre of each dummy aspect and fit small LED’s into the holes. BANNER REPEATER SEMAPHORE SIGNALS

An illuminated – Centrally pivoted Semaphore arm in a glass case, showing the indication of the signal

which may be hidden from view when a train stops at a station platform.

E.g. On lines used by express and stopping trains. The express train driver needs to see the signal well

before approaching the station at speed – It could be positioned high in the air if there are surrounding

buildings. The stopping train driver can also see the signal as he approaches the station, but when he

stops at the platform he cannot see his signal which may be many feet in the air above the train – So a

Banner Repeater signal is used so that the driver can see the correct indication of the signal at his eye

level height.

Rotary Switches, needless to say, have a rotary switching movement. They will be needed when the number of circuits that need to be changed

simultaneously exceeds the capacity of a toggle or slide switch.

A7, A8, A9 & A10 ROTARY SWITCHES – Will cover multiple switching roles where more than two circuits need to be simultaneously switched - for example if three or four track controllers are being used for ‘cab control’.

This switch can be used to unlatch relays by momentarily interrupting the power supply

to the actuating coil.
